Wullis, Sandu Women Gardener Surge Barrow To Boost Their Productive Capacities
Agriculture been one of the key areas raised up by communities across the regions and of course anational concern to attaining food self-sufficiency and fighting against hunger in addition to the need for rural electrification, good health facilities, good roads, the women in the Wulli, East, West and Sandou Constituencies have also raised their concerns for the President’s intervention as their farm produced has badly dropped down.
Speaking at a joint meeting by Wulli East, West and Sandou constituencies, held at Kolibantang in the Upper River Region on the ongoing President’s meet with the people tour.
FatoumataSaho,Lady Councilor revealed their challenges as their farm produced have suffered huge setback.
She called on the President to help the women in their communities with the expansions of their gardens as they are currently facing with low farm productions due to few availability of few gardens and lack of equipment among others.
She further urged the President for the construction of skill training center into their communities for their young ones, likewise water and electricity supply.
