VOD media will like to confirm receipt of a media support grant of D250,000 from the Grant Management Committee (GMC) of Gambia Government’s Covid-19 Media Support.

This grant is given to support media houses that are affected by the covid-19 pandemic crises. The support is geared towards support towards staffing/freelancing and institutional challenges for the next six(6) months, from November 2020 to April 2021.

VOD media has signed a contractual agreement with the grant management committee who is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the whole project.

Although the grant received wouldn’t be enough to cover our institutional expenses; for the next six months, we welcome the support rendered.
