Kemo Bojang Tenders Six Video Evidence In Court

Kemo Bojang, a UDP party member, nominated Councilor in the Kanifing Municipality Council (KMC) and first witness in the case of UDP/Ebrima Dibba against six (6) advisers to the President Adama Barrow yesterday at the Supreme Court tendered in six (6) video evidence that were admitted into evidence as exhibits by the five (5) Supreme Court Judges.

Counsel Abdul Aziz Bensouda, the lawyer who led Kemo Bojang in giving his evidence in chief highlighted that Dembo Bojang is the National President of the National People’s Party (NPP) and as they are both related after Dembo’s appointment he informed the family about the news and he (Kemo) went to Dembo to congratulate him. Kemo highlighted that he has 3  videos in his possession where Dembo Bojang (Dembo by-force) in December 2022 was at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Center during the NPP Congress.

The second video was also of Dembo Bojang during the local government elections where he was seen with the NPP nominated Councilors at the IEC Regional Office. Kemo highlighted that he obtained these videos from Kerr Fatou by screen recording them.

Whilst the third video was the campaign for the mayoral election where Dembo Bojang was speaking at a rally held at Bakau calling on the people of Bakau to vote for the NPP.

There were other videos regarding  Lamin Cham, Henry Gomez, Lamin K Saidy and Dou Sanneh, the video of Lamin Cham and Dou Sanno was of both of them speaking  at a political rally. Whilst the one for Lamin K Saidy he was addressing young people in Foni calling on them to rally behind the President.

This particular case was filed by Ebrima Dibba a UDP Member along with UDP as a party against six (6) advisers to the President namely, Dou Sanno Deputy Political Advisers, Dembo Bojang Religious Advisers, Henry Gomez Special Advisers, Lamin Cham President’s Personal Aide, Lamin K Saidy Deputy Youth Advisers and Sulayman Camara Cyber Security Advisers.
