Kaba Bajo Unveils His Manifesto For GFF Presidency Re-Election Campaign

Lamin Kaba Bajo today has unveiled his manifesto at the Oasis Building, Senegambia as he seeks for another mandate as the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) president against his component businessman Sadibou Kamaso in August 2022 Gambia Football Federation Elections.
In his manifesto Mr Bajo came up with several points that he wishs to concentrate on if re-elected such as improving infrastructure,capacity building,coach,administration,referees and ,medics educations.
He further elaborated the need for safety and security training, technical and grassroots football development.
He unveiled further plans of introducing a youth leagues for both the men and women in division one and two
Explaining his plans in details, Mr Bajo said that in capacity building he will continue to make it the core of their agenda in order to eliminate the huge gap between the number of footballers and trained personnel for proper and sustainable development of football throughout The Gambia which he said that the CARM project will be conducted every year in collaboration with CAF and FIFA like training of coaches, administrators, referees and medics shall be implement.

Through the UEFA support project he said the administrators educations will implement the club development and licensing program by training all club administrators on branding, marketing, as well as fan promotion and engagement.
He promises to train 500 security personnel and stewards on football match safety and security procedures by working with the FIFA/CAF safety department and The Gambia security agencies as he stated that it will enhance harmonization of match security organization in line with the FIFA/CAF regulations.
During the event Mr Bajo also says that he will continue to observe strict adherence to the FIFA approved constitution, with the executive committee holding regular meetings and ensuring sound management of the strategic direction o f the GFF and also that he will appoint competent people to all statutory sub-commitees and judicial organs and meetings and the decisions would be in line with the tenets of the GFF constitutions.
Lamin Kaba Bajo is a retired army captain and served many diplomatic and cabinet portfolios including the Minister of Youth and Sport (1997-1998).
