ALMOT Real Estate Hands Over Newly Purchased Estate to KMC Staff Welfare Association

ALMOT Real Estate earlier today handed over the newly purchased estate by the KMC Staff Welfare Association to the KMC Staff at the KMC new building.



Lord Mayor of Kanifing Talib Ahmed Bensouda speaking at the event expressed how today is a day that will be remembered, that all staff welfare association across the country can emulate as a sample of a Council taking care of its most valuable resource which is its staff.



He also applauded the management under the leadership of Jaja Cham, and the establishment committee under the leadership of Habib ML Ceesay for supporting the staff welfare through this journey.


Jaja Cham the Director of Administration, highlighted that today is a day of joy and celebration as 175 staff will be enjoying the benefit of owning a plot of land.



He also acknowledged that the KMC staff is more than 175 as they are close to thousand so he wants to make sure that this executive or any coming executive to make sure that others can have the same opportunities.

Modou A Njie, President of the Staff welfare committee said the staff were very patient during the period and he is thankful that everything has come to end and after the handing over everyone would get their land along with land document and is free to build anything they want on it.


He also expressed that as far as they are concerned the land process is clean because they have not received any complaint from anyone within that community.

Mayor Talib Ahmed Bensouda named the 175 20 meters by 20 meters fully paid for and demarcated service located in Kitty KMC Beno/Cambengo Estate which symbolizes the unity and teamwork demonstrated by KMC staff in making this dream a reality.
